This Village is one of the largest and is located in the middle of The Woodlands.  The Village of Cochran’s Crossing was founded by the Cochran Family, who also founded Cochran Lumber and Grogans Mill.  Cochran’s Crossing village, home of the Palmer Golf Course, Bear Branch Sports Field, The Woodlands High School, YMCA & The Woodlands Country Club.

This established village is the home of the 27-hole Palmer golf course and The Woodlands Country Club. Numerous large parks, fine schools, and a village shopping center make Cochran’s Crossing a very organized and easy location for family living. Cochran’s Crossing was founded in 1983 and named after the Cochran family in Montgomery County, who once co-owned the Grogan-Cochran Lumber Company and a significant amount of the timbers that became The Woodlands.
